Restoring and improving our environment...
Marsden AES as a large proportion of its work tries to restore and improve our environment. To this end the company’s commitment must be reflected within its business activities
The main objective is to understand our actual and potential impact on the environment. This necessary awareness will enable us to minimise this impact by using alternatives where appropriate.
- Support and implement recycling activities. This to include both the use of recycled materials where possible and the recycling of any waste material
- To minimise our energy consumption in all areas, both office and on site. Key consideration is given to the fuel consumption of machines. Where possible bio-fuels/lubricants are used
- Fully train and inform staff of their environmental obligations as part of this business
- Implement procedure that in case of emergency minimal environmental impact occurs.
Recognise that the business activities use substances that are hazardous to the environment and as such pledge to minimise their use where possible and to seek alternatives.
